Spring Boots

Finally! The fashion dieties have answered my prayers and embraced transition-friendly fashion. I don't know if its the economy or what, but the trends are leaning towards fashion that works in multiple seasons and gives you extra wear mileage. This is especially true with Spring's shoe trends.

My favorite transitional shoe style for this upcoming season is the Low Boot. This style works well for Spring, Fall, and even Winter. I see these as investment piece since you will be wearing them over and over.

These are my picks:

Try the DV by Dolce Vita Shilo Suede Boot, $119, which can be folded up or down (even better for transitioning). Also try the BC Footwear Over Easy, $85, and the Joe's Jeans Canal, $250 . Steven Madden has these two pretty options, the Adeson and the Blazzee

If you cannot see yourself investing in this style, Forever21 has these options, all under $30: Cowboy-style pair, suede pair, and a leopard print pair. As always with these options, I have not worn them myself so I cannot attest for their quality (and you know how much I value quality!).

My personal favorite is the Frye Deborah Lace boot, but at $498 I will be waiting that one out for a sale.

This Spring, wear this style with dresses and bare legs. In the Fall throw a jean jacket over your ensemble, add some tights and a scarf when it gets cooler. Then keep them around in the Winter by pairing them with jeans, textured/color tights and leggings.
