After creating a less expensive version of the Military look last post, I found another look I wanted to replicate for less. What I loved about this look was its ease factor - it totally looked like something any of us could put together. This look can easily transition you from day to night with just the change of purse and lipstick, which makes me love it even more.
Here is my version for you guys, let me know what you think!

For the fur wrap, you can go one of two ways: Real or Faux. For real, you can literally Google "real fur wraps" and a bunch of websites will pop up. I didn't want to delve too much into this because I am not the biggest fan of real fur (especially around the neck). But to each their own, so Google and look through for the best option. For those going faux, you have a bunch of options. My favorite affordable option is Ana Konder's piece at Asos, priced at $32. H&M and Uniqulo both currently have faux fur wraps as well.

As to the top, a navy striped tee is a great top to keep around - it matches everything and lately has been popping up way past its old "Summer-only" curfew. Luckily for us, since it's Fall, this style is on sale everywhere! So check out any major department store and you are sure to get a designer option for less. Forever21 also has this striped tunic $11 (this is long style, since the accompanying skirt will be long you can get away with wearing it underneath and then alone as a dress). Also try H&M, they always have striped navy tops.
For the skirt, Mango has two beautiful option similar to one featured, the "Tofe" skirt, $69 and the "V-E TIKIS" skirt, $89. These both work with and without tights making them great transition pieces so they are worth the investment. For a warmer version of this skirt try the "Midi Flare" skirt from Zara, $79.

The shoes, of course, were the hardest to match. Why? This is due to the fact, that a lace-up pointy animal skin heels is clearly the result of a mad genius. While I didn't find an exact match (those that did look similar were of very questionable quality), I was able to pinpoint a shoe along the same lines from Nine West. Try the "Diedre", $130, in "Grey Multi Pony" from Boutique 9 (FYI the Black Patent version is on sale here for $54!). Another option, more similar in structure but animal print-less, is the "Dabney" in "Grey Leather" from Steve Madden, $189.

Pull your whole look together with a belt - try the "Obi" belt from Asos $30.33. Add some bracelets, any gold ones will work. You can try this option from Asos, $16. Finish up with a clutch, like this "Nude Washed Leather" option or this "Oasis Lattise Weave", both $58, also from Asos. Wear your everyday bag for your busier days and switch to a clutch for your relaxed nights out.
Happy Shopping!
