It's Getting A Little Chilly...

Ahhhh! I can't just throw on shorts and a t-shirt anymore?!

Fall is here and you're going to have to start layering on the clothes to stay warm and hopefully fashionable. But don't go into the closet and pull out that old dirty peacoat that's been with you through three winters. Hym has got your back, pull out your credit card and invest in these very affordable Fall pieces that'll have you looking expensive but spending just your lunch money... hopefully.

1. Camel is in! Easy as that. Just so happens everything now is camel colored, you can find a toggle college boy coat that comes in camel. J.Crew has a very warm and heavy one to make sure you stay warm this season for the very cool price of $68 dollars. Don't forget now you get 15% off just for being a student so flash them your college ID.

2. Big turtle necks are going to be popular this season. Turtle necks?
Really? Yes, really. It's not going to be that stereotypical
80's turtle neck to hide the shame anymore. Turtle necks are back in but with a new twist. H&M has a sturdy wool turtle neck in four different colors for $34.99. Topman should cover your neck and wallet with their array of turtlenecks coming in to their stores by the end of this month.

3. Tweed for those warmer days. Tweed is in with a vengeance, and it's coming in everything. Gloves, Jackets, Pants and Boots! This look is very in and very affordable so you may want to invest in some pieces and accent them with a bold plaid tie to tie in the look together. WARNING: Do not go for the college professor look... it's not cool.

4. Dark, dirty and used up khakis. The darker, tighter and more fitted the better. Look for a dark wash and roll them up to show some socks. Make sure you have enough room in the front and back so it doesn't look like you bought the wrong size. It should be fitted on the legs and waist, nowhere else. American Eagle has khakis in all colors and sizes for a really cheap price. Get a student discount here also so don't leave your wallet home.

These things should have you covered as you learn to layer on pieces and transition them from Fall to Winter. Make sure to dress these pieces up and down according to occasion. You can dress them down with a military watch, which are all the rave this season, or dress them up with dark brown dress shoes and a ceramic all-black timepiece.

You can look great without spending a lot of money. Remember be aware of sales and promotions. Do your research so you know what your looking for and don't end up spending more than you need to. Look for student discounts, a ton of places have them, just ask. Depend on classic rather than trendy pieces. Seriously, how long are those $300 dollar sneakers going to be cool for really? If ever...

Bundle Up!
